And the lovely and talented Ashley Tallas rockin’ it out after rehearsal a day or two before opening night.

These folks came by once before and started quoting bylaws and such.  Everyone I talk to, including the City of Edmonton Help Desk, says that since I’m only a hobbyist and don’t charge anything I don’t fall under those regulations.  Has anyone else out there been forced to take out a business license to take pictures of family and friends?

This production will bring more awareness to the We Believe in 118 Avenue initiative and Arts on the Avenue and a non profit group which helps at risk youth through the Arts.

It’s not your tradition musical.  If you took LIVE concert and MASHED it up with theatre this is what you would get.  It’s a live concert concept, with bands and musical groups that happen to follow a story that is going on. There will be 22 featured BANDS from Edmonton’s own music scene that tell a story with their song rhythms , lyrics and all out style.

The story – is about a guy.  Whom by accident ends up dating 5 women all at once.  All extremely different personalities and all of them don’t know about the other…gulp!

It highlights not only Edmonton Musicians but the community with key locations we all know and love about the city.

Jake is looking for love , but he has forgotten a very important step.  He must love himself first.  This musically driven play, is based off of 22 songs each from different local artists who drive the story with their unique lyrics.  We have all heard the typical love song, yet we all have our different interpretations of love.

This story takes 27 different looks on love through song and re-teaches us the important lesson that sometimes what we seek is right in front of us.
